Title: Hill Country Bo Hog Post by: Texas_Cur on May 22, 2011, 04:41:19 pm Savoy invited my brother and I up to the Hill Country to make a run Saturday night. It was a typical Savoy hunt, in that it started 4 hours after the original agreed start time. We dumped our swamp collies on the rocks and they burned it up. We ended up catching 5 hogs, 4 were under 100 pounds, and one bo hog with some nice teeth. Met some good people and had a great time on some beautiful property. Thanks again Savoy.
Bump, you can thank us later for taking this dog killer out of your woods. I am pretty sure at one point during the fight he chit out a whole jagd terrior...it did not have a collar so I could not be certain if it was one of yours. Your welcome! We had to wait out some really bad storms. The sky was pitch black and filled with lightning. When the moon made some light the hogs were on the move. Good hog at the end and didnt make a sound when the bulldogs hit.
