Title: hog prices are up!!! Post by: BIG CHRIS on June 07, 2011, 05:49:41 pm a buyer down in my neck of the woods guarntee $45 for 80lb hog, $85 for a 150lber!!!
50 to 80lbs = 20 cents a lb 80 to 100lbs = 30 cents a lb 100 to 150lbs 40 cents a lb with a $5 head bonus 150 and bigger 50 cents a lb with a $10 head bonus so for those 2 hogs u get $130!!! does anybody else have any prices close to those or more? our prices are: 50-80 .20 cents 80-100 .30 cents 101-150 .40 with $5.00 bonus 151-200 .50 with $10.00 bonus 201- and up .50 with $15.00 bonus we stay open year round it just gets slow in the summer. last year I shipped out 1809 head and 200,000 lbs and in 2009 it was 1378 head and 190,399 hogs are still going stong in our county..
