Title: Catahoula female
Post by: Blackoak on June 16, 2011, 12:58:15 pm
I have a young adult female Catahoula that needs a good home. She was picked up as a stray, so I do not know anything about her history or bloodlines, but she does appear to be purebred. She is blue leopard and white patched with double glass eyes, weighs about 45 lbs. She is friendly with people but not overly needy. Gets along well with other dogs. I have not done much with her, but did take her to my bay pen once and she definitely shows interest. This is not a dog that stays under your feet either. This dog is spayed, heartworm negative and up to date on vaccines. She is free to a good home, with the understanding that there is no guarantee as to what kind of a hunting dog she'll make. I'd like her to go to someone who will mostly make her their buddy regardless of whether or not she hunts. That said, she might make a fantastic hunting dog. I just don't have room for her to stay - I just rescued her to keep her from getting killed, but now she's ready to go to her permanent home. Transportation may be possible at little or no cost depending on destination. Email catahouladog@hotmail.com or call/text 903-330-5922. Thanks!
