Brody is a 1 and half years old. does a great job baying, will put teeth if he needs to stop one. medium range dog, nice nose and very very fast ,agile and smart dog. Here's a pic of my little black and tan girl I took yesterday at 11wks old. She is the annoying kennel barker I posted about last week. But she has actually made me happy this weekend. First, she went to town on the two baby birds that I knocked out of the nest right outside my bedroom window. She barked circles around them for a while until they started chirping, then it was straight catch, haha. Hated to do it to the birds, but they were more annoying than the kennel barking. And while I am not looking for a bird dog, it was nice to see some hunt drive in her. Then, I took her out to the backwoods at my inlaws for the first time just to see what she would do. Dropped her off the 4 wheeler, and after about 5 minutes of not paying her any attention, she was gone. Nose down to the ground checking things out everywhere. She is 1/2 cat, 1/4 BMC, and 1/4 redtick. Hard to say with curs being orginally made up of crosses, and I don't want to get into that reverse arguement. Mine is out of yella parents and being a cross sometimes the genes get crossed, just like horses and cattle. I consider them crop outs just like in other livestock. I'll try to send you a pic of his litter mates. He looks just that dog though. Guy I got him from said he's reverse trait but hell I don't really know. He has a bawl mouth when he first the hog and a chop bark rite after it. I guess the bawl is his locate bark.
