Title: dc-40 question

I have a collar that drops signal at 175 yards and does not pick back up. Its fully charged updated it and my system and I have removed and added it back. Any clue?

Change its number I can't remember how with out looking my garmin it seems to help mine

The collar is new to me but not new . I traded for it. Thanks purebreed I will see if I can figure that one out.

Delete it from your handheld, turn it on and let it sit with an open view of the sky for 20 or 30 minutes. Turn your handheld back on and add the collar back to it. Also do this if travel more than 200 miles from where you normally use it.

I did this with my new one and it's worked good so far.

If any of the above posts does not work. Try replacing the collar antenna. I had my dc40's so the same thing. Garmin shipped me new replacements. This was their suggestion as well.  I changed them and have not had another problem .
