Title: Lost a good one to the heat.... Post by: t.wilbanks on July 26, 2011, 08:45:51 am Lost a good one this last weekend.... Tom was the kind of catchdog that if a bay broke once you cut him loose, you better try to keep up because he was going after it... We had several hunts where we would pick him up a couple miles from where we cut him loose...
Had a bay going about 3 am sunday morning and cut him loose... the bay breaks as soon as i let him go and they end up deep in one of the worst saw briar thickets ive been in.... Long story short, by the time i can get in there and get him some water, it was too late... R.I.P.
