Title: Rick Perry?
Post by: hillbilly on August 07, 2011, 07:39:31 pm
What ya'll think about him for President? Do ya'll think he is a sure enough Christian man? Just wondering what ya'll in Texas think about him? He seems the best choice so far to me. If he runs for President. A whole lot better than we have now.

I can't testify to his relationship with God. But he is my pick right now.

I have never voted maybe that's why we got stuck with Obama. I am this year Rick Perry is mine for sure

I like him and his ethics. My only complaint would be that he had plenty of time to do more work on Texas  border to stop the illegals

Now days it all boils down to the lesser evil. At least he puts with the NRA. As a state employee I've got some doubts.

there is a reason everyone wants the Republican nomination. Obama has done such a horrible job whoever runs against him will win. Obama can blame who he wants. The more blaming the more people will want him gone. Poop may roll down hill buck the buck stops at the top.

X2

I voted for Perry in the last election, but I was really voting against White....

Perry was also Al Gore's Texas campaign manager in 1988... Yep, he was a democrat. I'd hate to see him get elected and decide maybe he wants to be a dem again.

I was looking forward to Perry running, But this year he has seemed to be following the $$ more than the people of Texas.

I afraid if the republicans don't get a strongh pair to run together, swing vote will go Obama's way.

Perry couldnt do anything about border security and ever hope to have a shot at the presidency.  It would have forever ruined his chances by taking away the hispanic vote.  It really doesnt matter who the republican cadidate is because we will all just be voting against Obama.

Obama said change and nobody thought it would be the price of gas, unemployment, and the coutry's credit rating for the first time ever. Yup he brought change all right.

Guess the biggest problem I have with him is the $12.000 a month house rent he's costing we the taxpayers. Specially in hard times we are constantly reminded of.

DangerZone, that's my worst fear too. I have talked to several people who are still brainwashed obamans.  They still can look me in the face and say well he did this and he is trying.  I really think that if we do not give him t least a formidable opponent in the election than the morons will out weigh us once again.  Because after all he is Seal Team 6 he singal handidly went in and killed osama.  What a joke, but it scares me to think what the outcome could be if he gets to stay in office due to our lack of competition, and the idiots that think he has been even slightly productive.  If I hear at least he is better than bush one more time I'm gunna go crazy.

It is an Obama-nation My wife knows when he comes on TV when I am home because I start yelling at the TV with harsh words. I would love to get him in a boxing ring. I don't care who wins or how heavy the gloves are, I just want a chance to punch him in his fat mouth in a legal fashion. I think it is freedom of speach ;D So I should get a chance to excercise my rights. Then I will stand there and let him hit me back if he has the intestinal fortitude to do it or he is still standing. (I am not threatening him but more of a challenge that he will never know or even respond to if he did.) I am just tired of his constant disrespecting my country. But I will hit him with my vote for whoever runs against him.

My main concern first is the candidate a christian man or women. I saw him on yahoo news were he was praying at a prayer day. I am just hoping he is praying to the right GOD. Another thing is atleast he is from the south.

Title: Re: Rick Perry?
Post by: catchrcall on August 08, 2011, 03:40:08 am
The south doesn't matter a bit, who gives a damn about that?  The south is FAR more liberal and left leaning than where I grew up.

I'm suspicious of Perry.  If he is the candidate that ends up running against Obama he'll get my vote.  Other than that I'll keep looking.

Our country was built  on christian beliefs. We relay need some 1 in office that will honor the beliefs set forth by founding fathers. Who to say he was praying, not bc thats what he chooses to do, but yet it was for ratings? I did see the yahoo article where he was praying and can be completly wrong, but i look at the negitives in all so i can not be disapointed when it happens. I do remember that before HB 1451 was signed into affect, a bunch on this forum sure were anti perry if he did sign the bill and said he would loose your vote if he signed it, well he signed it into law, I do hope those of of you were so anti perry at that time will keep to your words, no matter who is running for election. Hold true to your words, bc nowdays, a mans word aint worth what our dollar is worth if we cant keep to it. Perry will NOT get my vote.

If it comes down to just him and Obama I ain't gonna have much choice.  That SOB's tried to take my retirement twice already and still ain't done with it.  Perry will get my vote if the only other alternative is Obama.

I'd rather vote for Mike Huckabee again, but if its Perry or Obama, then consider me a Perry supporter.

I'l vote for who ever is the staunchest Constitutionalist. I don't care what race they are, what religion the practice, or what party they belong. If you support the Constitution you have my vote. A politician that puts his race, religion, or party above our Constitution is a worthless SOB and has no business being in power. That's where we keep failing as a people. We keep voting for the people that are most like us instead of those who follow the freaking law. I'd vote for a black tranny Buddhist if he/she had a proven record of following the Constitution and supporting state's rights.

Perry is pretty good at doing a duck and dodge when needed. There is a small list of others I would prefer to see President because I think they have a stronger back bone but Perry would be far better than alot.

All I know is people better damn sure think long and hard about how they are going to vote for this time cause if we dont get it right this time there is liable not be a next time this coutnry is in that bad of shape and getting worse by the min.

We need to clean house man these people everybody is talking about are the same damn people that help get us in this big ass mess we are in so why elect the same ole thing over and over .  The next one better be right there aint no room for mistakes this time!

I'd be willing to wager this will be the dirtiest most corrupt election to date. I can see the Obamination raising another record amount of dirty money and getting re-elected.

It's way past time for a third party=(Independants), which would and does consist of the true patriotic Americans; the moderate/conservative democrats, and the same from the Republic side. Together would represent 80% of we the people. All i know for now to avoid any further downgrading of we the people we need to get the corruption out of the White House, and the power of the liberal left propaganda poisioning our country. So i'd vote for anyone else other than what we've got now, heck my dogs are more loyal that the bunch in power now.

Wilton, i posted a reply under the crotch sslute. It was verbage from the U.S. Decleration of Independance and i also modified to fit our countries state of government. In the deleration, it STILL states that when the government get to powerful and no longer repersents the best intrest of the american people, that WE have the right to remover the government and institute a new government. The only issue with removing them, they aint gona just step free will. Those that request the step down would be arrested for domestic terrorism, when we are inforcing our rights as americans. Its gona take people, losts of people to take up arms agaist the government, just as our founding fathers did. Now we r a bunch sissies who would rather be alive, than be free or makin a coutry for their children an future generations to be free n not forced under tyrrany. Hope the people do something soon. We need true leader, not puppets. We need folk who would lead the american people to freedom, not bondage

Its hard to lead a revolution by ones self. It takes both leaders and followers who do as told with minimal questioning and askings of WHY. If you cant be a leader, then be a follower with honor, integery and selfless service. To many look at it as me, me, me, not we. There aint no I in team and there are to many with the I agenda, and only a few with the WE agenda. There are to many kids, and not enough MEN.

I really think he could be the best canidate. Butnof course he's not a household name and the news would never get behind him.

i agree with the last 4 or 5 posts , something drastic is gonna have to happen . i would gladly risk and/or give my life for what my ancestors lived ,worked ,fought, and died to make for us .

i beleive there are enough like minded people to make it happen .

but where, when, and  HOW  do we start  ?
