Title: Road trip! Post by: TinyTexasCowgirl on August 12, 2011, 12:19:31 pm Hey y'all, am gonna be haulin into Indiana next week. Am leaving here Thursday, morning early. If anyone is needing anything hauled I have PLENTY of room.
Also, does anyone know of a place, or have a place that I could overnight with 2 horses? I'd pull in late Thursday night and haul out early Friday morning. Title: Re: Road trip! Post by: dub on August 12, 2011, 09:26:20 pm I ain't got no place but can't help but ask where? You asked for overnight but did not say where. Would prefer not to even stall, a round pen or the like. The hosses would have been on the trailer around 12 hrs by the time I get there

Title: Re: Road trip! Post by: TinyTexasCowgirl on August 18, 2011, 11:16:16 pm Man, y'all are making me worry about my ponies safety. As hot as its been here I'm thinking they are gonna be feeling pretty froggy next week, and it ain't good for their health when they act stupid with me... Guess we will see what happens, I'm hauling 3 head up there, we will see who makes it home, alive lol
Title: Re: Road trip! Post by: tnhillbilly on August 18, 2011, 11:42:34 pm LOL, .........that reminded me of somethin this old bear Hunter used to say, and probly still does knowing him.
we would all give him a hard time cause he would take a hand full of who knows what kind of vitamins, and he would always say, they made him feel like a young stud on a frosty morning. Title: Re: Road trip! Post by: firemedic on August 19, 2011, 09:28:03 am Awwwwww you'll be fine Meagan,....your equines will be too....they're gonna like this dampness here in the East. Post by: TinyTexasCowgirl on August 22, 2011, 07:27:30 pm Made it into Hazen AR. Horses settled in great, except they, and I are HOT HOT HOT... Title: Re: Road trip! Post by: TinyTexasCowgirl on August 23, 2011, 09:42:17 am Day 2
Traffic sucks!! Btw am I the only one who gets pissed because there are 5 cars in line for THE ONLY diesel pump?? My poor ponies are calling me a liar. I promised them cool weather and green grass. All they have seen is horseflies the size of planes and weather so muggy we can't breath. Got to the pasture this morning where I turned them out last night and all three were nose to tail LOPING the prettiest circles I have ever seen. Better than the ones that we warm up with even. Watched for a few mins trying to figure out what the heck had gotten into them when I noticed the SWARM of horseflies that was following them around. I kid you not, it was a black swarm. Poor horses couldn't even stop loping or they'd have gotten eaten alive. Thank god for endure fly spray. Awesome stuff. Where is this 80 degree weather you all promised us??? |
