Title: Ideas for anniversary gift?
Post by: YELLOWBLACKMASK on August 15, 2011, 06:07:37 pm
Anybody have a good solid ideas on an anniversary gift for the wife on the # 13.

If anybody has something solid rattle it off.

I am afraid my last several years have been kinda pathetic due to no imagination and working out of town.

Already checked with her boyfriend and he is out of ideas as well.

Thanks

A black or brindle puppy!!!

You probaly dont wanna do that, because nothing the boyfriend will buy will compare. That's bad news to.  You want her to keep him, so when your hunting 24/7, she is to occupied to gripe.   ;D

For real can I really get away with just that! ^-^

Figured there would be some kinda gift that im supposed to get her. Hell she already has jewelry and all that stuff. I always felt if I buy her jewelry it would kinda be like her goin and picking me out a puppy. There are always people that will tell you anything to make a sale.  Just like Goober from above.  :P

Well bro its really simple math.

I got no idea how I kept her this long, I am really bad with gift ideas, I don't have any close women that I am personal friends with to ask, the strippers will tell me anything for a buck and my girlfriend hates my wife.

So you see my life truly has got pathetic enough to turn to a bunch of East Texas Hog Doggers for a bit of advice.

Or I just figured a few of yalls wives or mistresses could hook me up with some cool ideas. HAHA ;D

Lamar

You lost me at Ridg...   Sorry Buddy thanks for the thought though.  O0

We made a video from old family photos with some sappy music in the background as it scrolled through , it was a gift that mine enjoyed watching many, many times. it's cheap and meant more to her than anything I could have bought. any way just an idea

I just took mine to beavers bend in southeastern Oklahoma for a weekend away from the kids. You can rent cabins up there for $150.00 to $300.00 a night. Two nights alone away from the kids. Could be for her and benefit you also. Just don't bring your girlfriend like I did because they will not get along.  ;D >:D

Depends on how long y'all have been together.

If you have been together for a few years, take her to the most special place y'all have together (think first date, or where you got engaged). Take along dinner, think simple but another favorite. Then find the most backwoods reclusive spot you know, Get a cheap air up mattress to throw in the bed of the truck or on the ground, and spend the rest of the night chatting. Whatever you do, hogs, dogs, horses, kids and money are off limits subjects. Take a trip down memory lane. Seriously. Trust me.

Memory lane ......ooooo....met at arcade when we were 15 so that's out...I stayed drunk and made her drive the getaway truck after I spotlighted and downed deer until I left for military at 18 per Texas Parks and Wildlife requests ...she is a country girl with city girl tastes. Hooters is a possibility ...ohhhh dang it its her night ..I work out of town so the kido has to come down ..can't fix that but nyquil can >:D

She hates movies
I hate the beach
How bout a gift of some sort? (Ladies)

Dinner √
Flowers √
Bottomless Margarita so I don't freak about the bill √

Gifts.... Hmm... More info needed? Does she like to keep a journal? Is she very religious? I just bought an absolutely stunning prayer journal. It's leather, and I don't mean the cheap kind...

Does she fish? Maybe a new pole?

Whatever her "hobby" is, find what the most important thing to have is and buy the best.

Hey there is an idea. She goes to church a good bit...mostly to pray for me im sure. She will probably need a biggun. How much do they usually run with like her name on it. I have never bought one I always steal them from cheap motels.

Literally find the prayer journal.

My journal has lined paper, with

Meagan Rivard
Philippians 4:6

On it ran my $111. Little pricey but its one that will last 100 years. Absolutely amazing quality and work.

That sounds like a plan Tiny.

Guess if it all fails I can go get me a case of natty light and a new wife beater shirt. By 3 am i should have raised enough H%#l to get the cops out to the house. Guess in that perspective if we make it to 14 ..I wont have such a high bar to reach to make it better than this one. Hehe  ;D

Not to get in your life to deep, but maybe you might go with her   She might want that more than a store bought gift? just an idea............ You could always stop by hooters on the way home FYI  :D

Nah you ain't gettin in my biz. I go as much as I am in which unfourtunatly isn't that much. But she keeps me in the front row as much as possible. Which I fully agree with.

But I have never been successful in getting her to pull through hooters for a sun lunch.  ;)
