Daggum two foot high one hundred pound bear may have claws and teeth but some boot leather or sole leather would change that bears mind real fast. But I may have just shot it and said I was in fear for my safety and my dogs safety. Wait I thought that is what you say when you shoot a gator rolleyes If it eats people or dogs I don't want it around. He got a HUGE fine for killing the bear, said he didn't know it was illegal, it was about the same size from the photos. My buddy is the lease manager, he kicked the shotter off the lease and the guy lost his hunting license for a period of time. In the photo the guy is smiling from ear to ear, I guess that was before he got his ticket...
