Title: Re: rubber cut collar. Post by: catchrcall on August 20, 2011, 03:32:07 pm It sounds pretty heavy and stiff and I'd be worried about rubbing sores on the dogs. What kind of tire were you thinking of using?

What kind of tire were you thinking of using? I saw a guy that makes em out of mud flaps. Give it a shot. You'll never know if it works if you don't try. Title: Re: rubber cut collar. Post by: dan on August 20, 2011, 07:33:06 pm A riding lawn mower tire with the side walls cut out, brass rivets, and a couple nylon collars, will work. It doesn't rub the dogs neck.
My advice: Save your money and buy a cut collar. I have replaced most of my homemade cut gear in the last year. Title: Re: rubber cut collar.
