Title: Starting over sux! Hunt 9-8-11 Post by: muleman on September 09, 2011, 09:41:31 pm I sold out a few months back and planned on quitting forever. Well that wasnt working for me so im starting over. Not fun.....at all.
Went on a hunt last nite with my brother in law and some really good friends. Thank God that Grant make-em-squeal) came with his Hunter dog. Now hunter has never been one of my favorite dogs but compared to the dogs my buddy Jack and I have.....he's a stem winder. Dropped the dogs and eased along on the wheelers. Hunter and Grants pup were out hunting good. Mine and Jacks dogs were either fighting, humping each other or just being a pain in the ass in general. Hunter wound up striking a few hundred yds out and managed to stop a little sow (he aint the grittiest dog) when he got bayed, Mine and Jacks turd eaters finally went to him and it was a caught hog. It was no great feat catching this one. I'll never cuss hunter again i gotta tell ya. And Grant, i appologize for all the times i offered to shoot him. ive give up on giving up, ive tried it a couple times, and it just aint happenin. So i may the down from time to time, but always gonna keep a few I guess. Just sold all my curs and already regretting it. But there like Doritos, they'll make more, just so aggravating weeding thru all the bad ones to find one good one. Title: Re: Starting over sux! He's not my favorite dog either, we should have stopped a bigger one in that sounder but its no secret he needs help to do that 8) I am liking this pup more every hunt, she kicks up some dirt.
