Post by: bghogdogtx on February 13, 2009, 10:56:44 am
My dad is about to build him some kennels.  We heard people talk about how concrete is not good for the dogs joints and legs. has it had any effect on anyones dogs that they can tell? Thanx!!!

Your welcome. I hunt jagged rocks, cactus and grass burrs, so I need thier feet tough.

HINT- when I poured mine, I just tamp levelled with a 2X4 and let it se, so that it is not quite so smooth.
As it drys, it settles and smoothes some, but is not finished like a sidewalk or driveway.
