Title: Re: Some good hogs Post by: ROCKIN ROO HOG DOGS on February 18, 2009, 07:31:46 pm Noah, those curs are from Bill tolsons line out of Mineral wells texas,he has just about perfected it over 20 years in my book.He even thought about things like Loose skin to prevent cuts and he can tell you just about every pups family tree without looking at a dang piece of paper,Here are a couple of better pics and the little fella is the pup Bill picked out of the litter for me,he is about 2-1/2 or 3 months old now.(http://i633.photobucket.com/albums/uu59/roos_01/CIMG0241.jpg)
(http://i633.photobucket.com/albums/uu59/roos_01/CIMG0249.jpg) (http://i633.photobucket.com/albums/uu59/roos_01/CIMG0244.jpg) (http://i633.photobucket.com/albums/uu59/roos_01/CIMG0228.jpg) Title: Re: Some good hogs Post by: Noah on February 18, 2009, 07:38:34 pm Very nice, they look like they could cover some ground, smart looking heads too. Funny you mention the loose skin thing, I've been thinking about that for a while... thanks for the pics
What's their style of hunting by the way? Title: Re: Some good hogs Post by: ROCKIN ROO HOG DOGS on February 18, 2009, 07:47:21 pm Close to medium on ground tracks but if they wind one,the race could go a couple of miles, you know how that goes.I hunt some big places which is fine BUT i also hunt some honey holes that range from 150 to 600 acres and i dont want those dogs covering it too fast, especially on a guided hunt, they also take there time at fence crossings and such to make sure we are supposed to be there but if they are on a hog its a different story.Good swimmers too, kinda webbed feet, should do good down yor way noah.
