Title: Re: How to tie a pig Post by: Heaven Sent Kennel on September 25, 2011, 10:03:26 pm I'd go on the back leg above the hock. Go around 2 or 3 times then tie a square knot and then black tape over the top of it.

Title: Re: How to tie a pig Post by: J Carroll on September 26, 2011, 04:52:58 pm Tie a really good know above the hock with about 50 ft. of rope with a 4 way tire tool tied to the end of it. turn it towards a thick draw and it will get hung up. Then pups can run it down that way. Of course the pig can't be too big though.
Title: Re: How to tie a pig Post by: SCHitemHard on September 26, 2011, 10:47:48 pm we just tie some 2x4s up to its legs and let it run, it wont run far and not fast at all

Title: Re: How to tie a pig Post by: rdjustham on September 28, 2011, 11:41:27 am Couple half hitches over the hock on one back leg with a long piece of rope. Drag it from where you want to start and tie it off to the base of a tree. the longer the rope the more room the hog has to back the dogs off and make them work.
