Title: Catahoula x AB Pups (Sold, thanx) Post by: madshark on February 19, 2009, 01:36:09 pm I have 2 Catahoula/AB pups left. 9 weeks old. One male, one female. Male 20#, female 19#. Been wormed w/ Strongid at 5, 7 and 9 weeks. Just got first shot, today (Spectra-7).
$50 for either. I live in NW Houston. Could arrange to meet you in greater Houston area. Gyp-C broke the door of the crate I had her in and went out through the dog door in the wee morning hours. The mother (Gyp-C) was 11 months old at the time of the breeding. She had been hunting about 3 months and was really coming on. She had a good nose, hunted hard, honored another dog's bay and was there on every hog when she was on the ground. Had probably been on 20 or so hogs. The vet gave me the wrong dosing on Moxidectin and she died 6 weeks ago. Father was another issue. He was given to me by a guy from Florida. He had never hunted, but came from lines of hunting dogs. I got him when he was 2 years. I never got a chance to hunt him, because he and My Dogo Argentino male had problems. He never really seemed to have problems with any other dogs, just Achilles. I found him another home, with folks who keep him as a pet. Figured folks would ask, so I wanted to give you all the info. Title: Re: Catahoula x AB Pups Post by: jheffern on February 20, 2009, 07:17:35 pm mark i shure wish i had room for one of these they ought to make some one a hell of a catch dog. evrybody these dogs are the grandson and grandaughter of masons chilli and my best dog shinola. shinola is a had mouthed dog and i ahve caught a bunch of hogs without a catch dog just using here and the litter mates to gyp-c. if you got room i would snag the last one up.
