Title: catch vest Post by: arrowbar on October 13, 2011, 10:25:42 am Ok so I need your opinions on the best catch vests, I have a 55 pound ab that is going to start catching, and I am new the to the catching aspect before it was bay and shoot. She is still growing so I am gonna need one now and later. What type of materials do you all recommend and from where?

Title: Re: catch vest Post by: halfbreed on October 13, 2011, 11:19:05 am arrow bar just get you all the vest you can afford they will all eventually get cut up . this topic is most all about personall preferences and every body you talk to will have something differant to say . all i can recomend is when you get one make shure it has the leg gaurds on it and be at least 3 layers .

Title: Re: catch vest Post by: make-em-squeel on October 13, 2011, 06:32:21 pm I have used them all and in my opinion for the way I hunt which involves using the catch dogs to be athletic and have the ability to run more than 40 yards the Aussie style catch vests are by far the best they offer plenty of protection without chaffing the legs or effecting mobility. I also love how they are all one piece from collar to vest b/c there is no gap in the front & its much more conveniant for regular use.
They have different styles and I get the ones with the most protection and added on leg pads. Not all there models are good for our style of cd but the ones that are simply offer the best of both worlds. Google Duncan pig dog supply.
