Post by: muddogger98 on October 18, 2011, 04:21:03 pm those prices in texas has been that way since the middle of summer. when we was selling hogs..but we havent sold any in about 2 months.. u gotta watch them buyers scales thow.. we weighed a few before we took them and had different weight then the buyers.. kinda why we quite selling them. plus the freezer got low. but its still money thow...

If you have to pay for the gas to go 120 miles like we do down here its a money losing deal, every day you feed them u lose, not worth it, shame everybody on ETHD does not get a coop going so we could demand higher prices the coop could demand and get all of these hogs making money for hogdogers by cutting out the middleman hog buyers

I agree at those prices! I was hoping something crazy happened & the tree huggers wanted to use pork to feed the world!
