Title: Americanlegendz Line up Post by: Americanlegendz on October 19, 2011, 03:35:54 pm Just a brief introduction to the forum. My name is Juan (Jon) Aguilera. I'm originally from the Rio Grande Valley (deep south Texas). I now live in San Antonio, Tx where I keep over a dozen bulldogs ranging from Old Time Southern, Standard American Bulldogs, Game pits, and one Bandog. I've been in bulldogs for over 20 years. All my first bulldogs came off of the old Hines line from Bill Hines in Harlingen, TX. Hunted with them early on in my youth and bred a little but nothing to extensive like my program to date. When I got back into bulldogs some years back, I research and try to find some of the old stuff I grew up around but had a difficult time finding the bulldog type I grew up around. I've manage to find some real old stuff still around in the valley and was lucky to get some actual dogs that came off of the original bulldogs from Bill's Yard. James Lagging gave me some great old season dogs that help me breed and start the new generation through Popey. I work closely with alot of hunters in South Texas through my old connections and even have one in the Florida Keys hunting with Tico at Jam up Bulldogs. Couple of years ago I was lucky to meet Britt Garcia and he has some awesome old blood off the Hines line as well. With Britts support and assistance I hope to get more of this blood out to East Texas Hunters to get proven out. At the end of the day it's all about walking the walk and not just talking the talk. Here are some of my bulldogs.
MY STUDS American Legendz Popeye (Hines blood line) (http://i697.photobucket.com/albums/vv337/Americanlegendz/popeyeeee003.jpg) (http://i697.photobucket.com/albums/vv337/Americanlegendz/poopey.jpg) American Legendz Jefe (southern type blood line ) (http://i697.photobucket.com/albums/vv337/Americanlegendz/jefeito.jpg) American Legendz Ghost Rider (Hines blood Line) (http://i697.photobucket.com/albums/vv337/Americanlegendz/gho.jpg) (http://i697.photobucket.com/albums/vv337/Americanlegendz/newpicsofperformancebulldog016.jpg) FEMALES American Legendz Hog Fury (Hines blood line) (http://i697.photobucket.com/albums/vv337/Americanlegendz/tieofhinesandrangerson-1-1.jpg) American Legendz Sidney (southen type blood line) (http://i697.photobucket.com/albums/vv337/Americanlegendz/sidsitting-1.jpg) (http://i697.photobucket.com/albums/vv337/Americanlegendz/2011-08-17183121-1.jpg) American Legendz BOO (alabama bloodlines off of Stover) (http://i697.photobucket.com/albums/vv337/Americanlegendz/stove.jpg) American Legendz Bad Bitch (Hines taken to southern bulldog line) (http://i697.photobucket.com/albums/vv337/Americanlegendz/hawg2.jpg) American Legendz La Llorona (performance line Margentina) (http://i697.photobucket.com/albums/vv337/Americanlegendz/marge.jpg) American Legendz Nita (performance line Leclerec/Koura) (http://i697.photobucket.com/albums/vv337/Americanlegendz/newpupssouth008.jpg) (http://i697.photobucket.com/albums/vv337/Americanlegendz/nitabonita.jpg) Told you guys just a short intro I got alot more bulldogs but don't want to overwhelm you with pics. ha You can see the difference and how they vary in size yet all are standard type bulldogs with a little performance lines like Leclerec, Koura and Margentina. The others are Stouts southern type bulldog, Stover and Hines bloodlines being my main focus. Title: Re: Americanlegendz Line up Post by: Bryant on October 19, 2011, 03:45:36 pm Glad to see you posting and pics look good, Jon.
I'll have to get some recent pics of my Boo X Popeye female. She's filling out and really looking nice. Looking forward to giving her a full time job here pretty darn quick! Title: Re: Americanlegendz Line up Post by: geronimo on October 19, 2011, 03:47:57 pm you have some awsome looking dogs, i really like the looks of you jefe dog.
Title: Re: Americanlegendz Line up Post by: JBurns on October 19, 2011, 04:07:04 pm You have some great looking bulldogs but I have to say Jefe and La Llorona are mighty fine creatures!
Title: Re: Americanlegendz Line up Post by: Americanlegendz on October 19, 2011, 04:12:50 pm Hey what's going on Bryant? Definitely want to see some pics of that gyp. You have one of the only pups from that first breeding. I hope she turns out for you and keep me updated on her progress. I'll be in that Killeen area pretty soon so I'll have to give you a call so I can maybe tag along with you. Got your Bussiness Card so I'll be giving you a buzz maybe soon.
Thanks Geronimo. Jefe is old time southern bulldog to a Dixie War Dog off the Art Parker line. Dam that bulldogs got some drive. He's the sire to the Cowboy bulldog Jesse just put on a hog on the other thread. I'm taking him to Sidney his Aunt one day for a close line breeding. Sidney is pregnant right now with a game bred pit for a battle cross. But maybe in a couple of years Jefe will get his chance with Sidney. Title: Re: Americanlegendz Line up Post by: Americanlegendz on October 19, 2011, 04:21:29 pm Thanks J Burns. Llorrona has a litter of pups right now with Ghost Rider. I got two going out to people on this board through Britt.
Here's a pic of the breeding (http://i697.photobucket.com/albums/vv337/Americanlegendz/GhostxMargentinatie.jpg) Pic I took a couple of days back of pup at about 3 weeks old. I've got a male and female American now, no impressive pedigrees but they get the job done for me.

Title: Re: Americanlegendz Line up Post by: Reuben on October 28, 2011, 07:08:52 am awesome dogs...
Title: Re: Americanlegendz Line up Post by: uglydog on October 28, 2011, 10:21:51 am Nice looking dogs for sure! Welcome Jaun. How tall at the shoulder do you expect that Reloaded pup to get at the shoulder? I like the length of the muzzle on that pup, thats something I look for in a catch dog is longer muzzle and its hard to find in a bulldog.
Title: Re: Americanlegendz Line up Post by: Americanlegendz on October 28, 2011, 12:39:28 pm Should get plenty of leg under them. Here's a pic of the litter mate sister I kept out of the litter.
(http://i697.photobucket.com/albums/vv337/Americanlegendz/reloadpup.jpg) I'm excited with this reload litter. I got plenty with hunters so we can evaluate the entire litter in the next coming year for sure. Thanks Big Chris, Blakebh, Reuben, and uglydog for your comments. I got a nice breeding coming up with heavy double ranger on both sire and dam through popeye being bred to half sister. Should be some tight blood that throws out some good ones. Title: Re: Americanlegendz Line up Post by: Americanlegendz on October 28, 2011, 12:50:51 pm Here blakebh I know your a APBT fancier so you can appreciate the one I got at home.

Do you use her as a CD? http://www.apbt.online-pedigrees.com/public/printPedigree.php?dog_id=403206(http://i1223.photobucket.com/albums/dd520/blakebh247/DSCN0883.jpg) Title: Re: Americanlegendz Line up Post by: Americanlegendz on October 29, 2011, 08:30:48 pm Very nice blakebh. I had a very nice red with similar ped. through hammond dogs from the alligator club in south texas. She was a great hog catching bitch. Wish I still had her but I lost contact with the hunting home she stayed with. Ill post some pics when I dig some up.
