I bought this dog before deer season just for this purpose and honestly don't need her. I have only used her once to find a doe and she did take the track and found the deer. The guy I bought her from said he has used her several times to trail blood and to run deer. He says if you let her go she she will run deer all day. She is a good natured dog with good handle.
