Title: Nice Lil sow Post by: JUG on November 01, 2011, 01:50:37 am Matt , Hogbit , Jason & I went out today .. Put dogs down at 11:00pm and headed in . Striker & Jake struck a nice one and ran it to us . We cut headlights on when she got 10yds away . Maijor hit hard but didn't catch her and she came after me but after three kicks with the Lacrosse she ran off with the dogs hot on her .. They cross the Bayou and bayed up a few times but we got split up in all the confusion , I didn't send Maijor cause I wanted Jason to stick her .. After about an hour we ment up and regrouped .. The hog lost the dogs so we just kept walking .. Got on a few good races but couldn't stop anything .. Took a Lil break on the bank of bayou and headed back in .. Dogs struck on in the swamp and she bayed up and I sent Maijor in to seal the deal .. Got to the bay to watch Jason leg and knife his first hog .. Great hunt with good people and my son is looking forward to hunting deer with Jason ..
