Made a quick run tonite. Mainly to work this new yella male...  bones strikes and novio blows out. Caught shoat at 740 yrds. As me and my son were following David out(cuz nobody had hobbles, leads or a sticker I grabbed em)  but as we were getting out two hogs crossed in front of us. They stopped at the fence so I sent cope to em. They went on an ran off before he got to em but wed already went on to David. (They were 100 lb sals or I wouldn't of left him)  David has a 30/40 lber caught in an open field. Him and 4 dogs. So we grabbed dogs when we got there and he hauled it out. Cope was playing with a dillo by the truck when we got there. Pretty good bulldog there. ( hes a lil out of shape an overall a slow Cd so he didn't catch em I don't guess)  we ran a lil more with no luck. Now I have a question... it was pretty windy 15-20 and sprinkling out why did we only strike one small group? Does the rain affect their movement? I figured wed be in em all night but only that small group was struck. ???

We've kinda noticed on a few places we go to the pigs don't travel much when its like that. They have a tendency to stay closer to the area there in that day or they move at different times, instead of there regular routines. This is atleast what we think or have kinda come to conclusions with but that's just one man's opinion.
