Title: blood tracking dogs? Post by: bluejock24 on December 02, 2011, 07:41:13 am Anyone ever had any experience raising or training a dog that will track game that you shot? If so what is a good breed thats fast has a good nose and silent that will do this? Is there a breed that will track hogs, deer, elk exc., that can can be pointed to a track by showing them the first blood? How do you go about starting and training them? I shot a decent buck with my bow and could not find him. I went and got bonnie and she trailed him a mile.4 and bayed him. Every one told me I was a p.o.s cause I shocked the piss out of her for running deer after I found my buck. Any dog that trashes bad should work with a little time spent with them...
