I was wandering how many of the members are weekend warriors? and how many hunt for a living? So what do you actually get paid for, trapping hogs amd yotes with snares or do you have to do other things like set up skunk traps under millionaires guest houses?? It cant be hog hunting with dogs on hogs are there would be no hogs on the 50,000 acres you are hunting on right??? Sounds like another TV show in the making to me??? Title: Re: Living The Dream ? Post by: hillcountry on December 03, 2011, 09:08:52 am Big preadators only. My ranchers do not all connect they have plenty of places to lay up and breed. There is a never ending supply of hogs. I hunt with a man who swears he almost had them all cleard out in the 60's and 70's. May be I need to hook y'all up. Knightstock.

Catching wild cows most of my life.settled down to working 3 months a year and guiding and hunting the rest. It's not as it seems . Guiding gets like baby sitting some time, 3 hours of sleep a night at 52 yrs old and real high mileage. Ain't easy. And most think they just call you up for this stuff. That's not the way it works you have to make it happen.hog dogs are fat bird dog needs work, blood dog sold new ones in elementary school. Constant battle. Better than building fence and hauling hay, or god forbid working in an office!

Full time student athlete right now and my dogs pretty much cover their cost the bit that I get to hunt, granted I only feed four dog and all my vet expenses are free. Im usually only out the diesel so its not too bad.
