Title: Re: need camera to pack Post by: ARhogdogs on December 06, 2011, 01:05:35 pm gotta get the waterproof one. Its by far the stoutest camera I have had, really nice that you can get the lens full of dirt and stick it in some water and shake it around and its ready to shoot again.

Title: Re: need camera to pack Post by: RL on December 07, 2011, 02:27:27 pm For $300 you can get a GoPro (Sun & Ski). They are water proof and can be helmet mounted. They take video or time lapsed photos.
I ran the New York marathon last month and someone wore one and took time lapsed photos. Wow! It condensed a 4 hour marathon into 8 mins of photos. It basically shows what the wearer would see.
