my wife stacie just had her last chemo for breast cancer a year ago . we just found out day before yesterday  it came back hard in her liver . started chemo yesterday and will talk to doctor a week from next tuesday . doc says theres no cure , but very managable ... wharever that means ... please pray

   we are going to talk to the dr. tues. i think we may be looking at other options though . she's heard that there is a place in houston tx that can cure this type of cancer . anybody know anything about it ?

I am about 20-30 minutes from there, yall are welcome to stay at our place during your stay in Houston.

I don't have a place nice enough to stay at but if you need something just ask. Even if I can't do it I might know someone.

has anybody had any experiance with md anderson? if we have to go somewhere i want to go to the best .

John, people come from all over the world to the Houston Medical Center... from what I understand, M.D. Anderson is where you want to be for cancer treatment.

The Houston medical center is about as good as it gets, with MD Anderson being the top dog in cancer treatment.

It is no miracle but from what I know you are not going to find anything better anywhere else in the world. It is where I would take my wife.

 stacie hasnt been able to get her treatments the last 2 weeks as her blood counts and platelets were too low . doc says she don't know what else to do for her .

.been on the phone with md anderson all day , they won't accept her insurance . looks like we'll be responsible for the bill . have to give 22,000 $ deposit at first visit . then treatment is 110,000$ - 220,000 a year .

we're gonna see about another cancer center here .

Jdt, had to reply again. Your situation is wayin on my mind. I about lost my daughter a few years back. Luckily I had the fight and the faith to do all I could[just like yur doin]and when I was all whupped up and wore out from it I would give it to god ! I urge you and your wife to keep fightin but trust in god and he will take care of you both !

I'll start off with I'm very sorry to hear about that I'll pray for your wife and the family as well. My best friend has been fighting melanoma cancer for going on 9 years, he went into remission there at the beginning for a year or so and it came back he was told no one has lived past 6 months once melanoma returns. With help from the good lord above and the doctors at MD Anderson he's managed to stay positive and fight through everything god has placed on his table for a solid 8 years soon to be 9! MD is the place is go... The best doctors, the best people, and the hospitality is outstanding! The people overall are a blessing from above! There updated with the best techonology in the world and are very educated when it comes to this horrible disease! Godbless you and your family!

well looks like we're gonna be coming to dr burzynski in houston at the end of feb . we'll be staying 3 weeks , my concience won't let me move us and our 3 curtain climbers in with cris and mandi hahahaha .

   does anybody know of a place out of town we might rent for 3 weeks ? don't have to be fancy , just a place to eat , sleep and room for the kids to run a little .

    My family and I will be praying for you and your family! My uncle is the youth leader at a church in Houston. I will get him to check with his church members and see what they have. How far do you live from Houston. If any body puts together a benefit auction or fund raiser then let me know and I will be glad to donate some items and know I could get some of my friends to do the same.
