EAST TEXAS HOG DOGGERS FORUM

me ,colton , maggy, craig , marvin, dowel, my brother & freinds went on a hunt sat. morning , it was in the 20s when we left out , craig brought JR & a bull dog , marvin brought 2 bay dogs and 2 bulldogs , and I had 3 bay dogs , we hit our first bay and hogs ran everywhere , there are several ranchs  together that we can hunt and the hogs covered 2 of them , we gathered a couple at the first bay and then the dogs split to multiple bays , we went to the next bay and lost the other dogs on the garmin , we went to the last place we had them and still no signal , we thought we herd a faint sound of dogs in the distance , well off we go and then I noticed I dropped my garmin , the guys went on because the dogs had been bayed for way over a hour and me and colton looked for the GPS , well after flipping the ATV , we found the garmin , met up with the crew & found out another ATV also flipped in the same area , they had gathered up a 100 plus sow and everyone was alright so we circled back to the truck , we gathered up a few more hogs on the way , the dogs covered a little over 22 miles and got 7 hogs

Very nice guys!  Glad to see Maggie out there, I bet the kids were hooked after catching 7.

Craig said y'all had a nice hunt.  I guess now y'all have to go into hiding for another couple weeks while the deer hunters are in the woods.

yep,, i got the remodeling done and settled in.    so i have some free time now  ;) 

yep , a couple of weeks to let the dogs heal up and its on , we bayed a big boar at the end of the hunt , we never seen him but seen the tracks on some of the trails , we just kept pushing him around and baying the little ones , at the last bay all the bulldogs were shot laying in the box , the hog broke before we got there , all the dogs had run there feet off so we let him go and went home to save a wreck , we will be back , thanks craig , we had a heck of a time
