EAST TEXAS HOG DOGGERS FORUM

Was talking to a guy at a bar & grill couple nights ago while I was waiting for my hunting buddy to get off about hog hunting and trapping. He asked where we was running the dogs and asked whose land this that and the other so I told him and we got on the subject of him trapping on his land lords place. I asked soul he let anyone run dogs he told me no I said ok that's an answer im use to but he warned me that where we was hunting wasn't far from his place and if are dogs go over there they might not make it back. I said really why wouldn't they. He proceeded to tell me the land owner don't like the whole dog idea he says they tear up the fences when they run through them. I was lost for words. I didn't know what to say never heard that excuse before.

He must build his fences out of popcicle sticks or toothpicks rolleyes

iv been told the same thing about the fence deal.

from experiance it ain't the dogs tearing up the fences it's the dog hunters and hog hunters, had to fix my own fence where some lazy sob cut mine to get there machines in to pick up the hog they poached . one man will kill it for the intire hog huntin world

Most people that i've delt with that say no it's because they have livestock running the place
