North east TX. Where a MO. Boy could catch a few hogs on a long weekend ? Ours are scarce this year and I got the fever bad ! Title: Re: Public hunting land Post by: charles on January 04, 2012, 04:12:35 pm where at in ne tx u gonna b? there is wright pattman lake in texarkana, white oak creek west of texarkana off I30, lake texoma, lake fork. you can go oto the corp of engineer website and find what lakes are public and what game is allowed and then go onto the tpwd site and see what other lands are public.

CoE land is the first place to start lookin, but ya gotta pay attention to the animal allowed to be harvested n by what means to take them. CoE leo's are federal cops. Just read the laws n u will b fine
