Mike do you  use  the qtr-6000m system?

No, I just use the 10 dog system. The 6000 is top of the line and will allow you to track anything... but they are all operated the same and are easy to use.

A guy I frequently hunt with uses an ATS system and he's been pleased. One thing about it that I don't care for is that they operate on the 155 Mhz frequency band which makes compatible collars a little harder to find, and also the yagi antennas tuned for that frequency are larger than those tuned for 217-220.  Just a little bulkier but not bad.  One thing I do like about it, is that the ATS collars have LED indicators when there on and also they indicate low battery status.

I personally use a wildlife system with quicktrack collars and have no complaints.  I've been so pleased with the service quicktrack has provided on my collars that when the time comes, I'll be buying a quick track receiver next.
