Title: hog hunting compotion rules
Post by: PEEWEE on January 09, 2012, 12:14:42 am
I was reading the rules on the companions that are catch and tie the rules state that no hog trapped held raised or released to be caught will be excepted as this qualifies as cheating so does that mean no barr hog can be entered because they were trapped or caught at one time cut then released to be caught again because why else do you barr a hog then release it and what about hogs that have alot of domestic traits i know domestic stock have escaped but alot people do cross domestic and wild then release the young to be caught at a later date wouldn't that count as being raised and released to be caught at
Just wondering how that would work because i know I'd be mad if i had caught a 400 barr or cross domestic hog then couldn't enter it

With TDHA contest, as long as it caught in the wild with dogs it counts.  Just don't let it out of a trap and catch it.
