Title: 347 pound Boar
Post by: AW on March 20, 2009, 09:16:37 am
Went to a new spot tuesday night with 1 finished dog and a pup. Put the dogs down and bayed a big group of hogs in a creek caught a 135 lb sow then the yellow dog rolled out we tracked him about a mile. We drove to him and the pup went in and had a solid bay got the bulldog to them and caught the boar.(http://i604.photobucket.com/albums/tt129/ARW1971/PIC-0172.jpg)(http://i604.photobucket.com/albums/tt129/ARW1971/PIC-0169.jpg)(http://i604.photobucket.com/albums/tt129/ARW1971/Picture001.jpg)

Nice hog...   Man that dog looks just like my pistol dog except without a tail. Is that Jaspers dog ? If so that explains why,  They are brothers.

Yea Jordy we need to get together,Yes Tye thats Jaspers dog Pistols brother we bred my gyp to him and I have been leaving her at home she is a FBMCBO dog also. If her litter is half as good as the one him and Pistol came from it should be a good start.

Nice dogs and hogs, hunting around my area.  Give me a shout sometime if you are in the area I got a few places around there.   I got a pup from Tye out of Pistols sister already striking and baying hogs.

Really nice Boar guys.  I have also got a pup that is a brother too Pistol.  He is just 5 months old now and already using his nose really well.  He is from the last litter of Pistol's mom and dad.  Thank the lord I finally had the good sense to get one from Mark.

My gyp's sire is (Wrights Sam I Am) and he has alot of Rio Grande Blondie blood and the Dam is (Wrights Silly Sally) she has alot of Ben blood. Jaspers male and my female both have that ridge from the top of there head down the top of there neck I was told thats from the Rio Grande Blondie blood. I should have some pups end of April if yall know anybody looking for a pup.

Nice hog.  I'm also out of Wise county.  Got smoked this morning by a big paint boar up off 920.  Third time now, someone's dogged him before.  Took two loose bayers and thought he might bay up with less pressure - wrong.  May need you guys help.  Again - good hog.
