Is calloways still open in lufkin?

as far as i know, there suppose to start back tomorrow??
they had stopped for a little while but are suppose to be resuming tomorrow...

Did anybody go to calloways saturday

My wife and boy did  it was a good one for them

I was there, not a very big turnout.  But, we all had a good time anyways.

They have ran for years, always the third Sat. of the month except for Nov. and Dec.  because of Thanksgiving and Christmas..

Callaways is still open.  We only closed down for the holidays in November and December.  I will try to get our February ad up on here in the next few days.  Hope to see you there.

Does anybody know the cost to enter a dog in calloways

its different for each class, but somewhere between 15 and 25

puppy = $10
youth = $10
Old & Young = $20
1 dog = $15
2 dog = $25

thinking about running my gyp pup again, not too sure though.  May just watch.  my bmc I know will either catch out, or get cut, and my brindle cur needs to be focused in the woods, as he is just starting. 

I love to watch dogs work though, so may just come spectate.

 if i get my tck fixed, i will be there. may enter my pups, but i think they will catch out unless mr calloway got bigger hogs for the puppy bay. i may have to enter them in the old dog group just to get a big hog.

had lots of fun on April 21st at Mr. calloways bay pen even though we are from Florida my wife and myself enjoyed it there. Seen a few dogs that we liked up there especially the red cat., and major good job on those dogs.
puppy bay:2nd and 4th place
old & young: 1st, 2nd,4th place
1 dog: 2nd,3rd,4th
2 dog: we swept with taking all three trophies for 1-4th place
had a great time and was pleased with the people there and how fair it was judge. 
a big thanks to our dogs:
dixie and bella--r pups
digger-my bird dog
and most of all my sissy dog with her perfect score of a 20. ;)

Glad to see y'all Florida people have some fun in east Texas. But u didn't have to take all the trophies.  LOL good job guess I should have stayed. Let me no when u have some pups I want me a bird dog.

yea we have a planned breeding coming up to dixie(mtn cur and lacey) and a buddy of mine dog. should be a great cross.

then im going to breed digger and bella which r my two bird dogs should be some good pups soon.

but hopefully i will get to texas soon im ready to be out that way.
