His mind wants to go harder but his body is showing that age. Went 1 mile behind one Sat. after being cooped up during deer season and he wore his self out!

He still finds a hog! My son hunted him in the middle of summer several times this past year. On the last hunt he found a man hog that about did him in but he survived it. He was laid up for being stiff and sore for days. I don't know how he does it but i will keep hunting him every now and then as long as he is willing to go. For the record, I don't think he is an exception either. Just a product of good breeding. Just died this past fall. My Paris gyp just turned 9 years old. She has slowed a bit, but finds and bays more hogs than she ever has. AND still faster than most short legged dogs. hehe
