Title: Dog Transporting and Shipment Post by: tjones on January 26, 2012, 08:16:41 pm Im new to this sight and live in South Carolina. I joined this sight to gather new ideas and opinions on hog hunting in different areas or atleast gain some insight to how it goes down outside of SC.
i do have one question though.............i have never bought a dog from out of state and looking for a few new puppies but not sure how the shipment of puppies or dogs affects them overall....any insight from someone who has done this? thanks Todd Title: Re: Dog Transporting and Shipment Post by: arrowbar on January 26, 2012, 09:54:26 pm ship pups that are 8-12 weeks by air its cheaper and less stress on the pups.

If you (in SC) have to make the coordinations for the pup coming from somewhere else, it can be difficult. I've used Cajun Pet Express and I have driven many hours to pick up a pup myself. For me, it depends on how much money I have at the time and how much hassle I can take. What kind of dogs/pups are you looking for? You have a lot of really good plotts just north of you in NC and WVA. not to mention some more good plotts in TN.
