The one I built at my folks place is 5' or so off the ground. It is my puppy kennel. Easy to clean and let them run loose while doing it LOL. THEIR EASY TO CLEAN AND WATER AND URINE RUNS RIGHT THROUGH THEM. BEST OF ALL YOU CAN GET THEM FOR FREE. I ALSO HAD THAT SET OF KENNELS BUILT ON CHANNEL IRON RUNNERS. IF I WANTED TO MOVE THEM I JUST HOOKED ONTO THEM WITH THE TRACTOR AND PULLED.

So its an all wood box (walls, roof and floor) plus the play area or expanded metal.
