Title: Looking into getting a long range antennae and was wondering which one is better
Post by: nogalus boy on February 22, 2012, 02:06:14 pm
My brother and I are about to get a long range antennae and was wondering if the telescoping antennae that screws directly on the hand help gps or the portable one that you hold in your hand is better? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

The flexible one is the way to go, it is more durable than the extendable

deff go flex... Ebay has em... I'd get the tuff skins for the Garmin collars as well. It makes a huge difference.

The Buzzards Roost has always done me right for these items.

Click on the banner at the bottom of the page... he has a whole section of various Garmin antennas.

I just ordered one. It was the long flexible one. Hopefully it will pick up at least 2 miles. We have a magnetic truck long range but we dont really use it. Thanks for all the advice
