Title: double use dogs Post by: rebel ridge kennels on February 24, 2012, 05:00:06 pm I am looking to get a few plott or plott x cur dogs to hunt hogs with but where I live there are a few hogs but coyotes are way more plentiful. Would it be possible to train plott hounds to run coyotes as well as hogs? Any and all opinions are welcome.
Title: Re: double use dogs Post by: halfbreed on February 24, 2012, 05:26:11 pm they will run both just fine . just when you turn out no tellin what you are runnin till you see the critter or the tracks . around here the yotes pretty much follow the pigs to try and pick up young ones .
