Title: Question? Post by: DARDEN on March 06, 2012, 04:43:44 pm When a sow has a litter of piglet how soon can you pull the piglets off her safely without worrying about anything?
Title: Re: Question? Post by: Kid7 on March 06, 2012, 06:29:04 pm The safest would be wen they stop milking lol but my friend has a 200 pound sow that he got wen she was 4 days old and she's still tearin shuff up
Title: Re: Question? Post by: DARDEN on March 06, 2012, 08:03:53 pm Anything will continue to milk as long as you let it. Thats why you pull pups, calves, and whatever else it is off their mommas at different times. I was looking for a window of time to where they are old enough to eat drink and not be dependent on the sow.
