Title: Re: Get you a catch dog Post by: WestTexasCurs on April 05, 2009, 08:18:15 pm I cant speak for the man that has these dogs.But the RidgebackxPit dogs that I have used could have went either way.I am not a big fan of running a catchdog off a lead,but I think they would work either way.I think it depends on the Ridgeback.The male that we had was a CATCHDOG,no bark to him,no matter what.We ran him on the ground all the time,and thats what got him killed.But we were young and didnt know any better.I sure wish I would have known better,he was a great dog.
