Unless she is showing signs of being in labor, I wouldn't worry, she will have them when she is ready JMO

I posted a whelping chart the other day that might help you out if your not 100% sure today should be the day. If she ain't feverish or showing any distress signs I'd leave her be and tomorrow morning or so you'll probably be knee deep in pups.

By your chart they should have been here yesterday the last day I threw my male in with her think your is 64 days the couple litters I have had were 63 days and this is 65.  I'm not completely positive it is right before my dad went to the hospital the first time.  Everything got scrambled then.

Well from all your info I wouldn't worry myself, of course you can haul her to the vet if you are real worried. I bet you she is fine. i ain't had a hound or cur dog yet that needed any help from me having pups. Like I said if she ain't breathing hard or obviously trying to push out pups that won't budge she is most likely ok.

dug this up on google just now, might help ya relax a little

they really blow up in the last 2 weeks...the pups are usually born between 59 to 63 days from the time she became pregnant and the average day is 61.

Well you know pics will be needed as soon as she is settled and relaxed enough for it  ;D

I don't usually suggest this but I think you should sit down and have a beer now, you were starting to make me nervous and i don't even know the dog  :D :D :D

Sounds like she doing her thing, check her temp if you haven't already, under 100 have another beer, 100-102 Should mean bout 24HR. Sometimes our worry can make non typical mother nature a problem when it isn't.

I got more oh number 2s lol I had planned on keeping the whole litter and culling through but there are 8 of them allready and she don't look like she has had any.   Ahhhhhhhhhhh I'm going to go into the poor house lmao.  I'm seriously thinking 12 to 14 pups.  One black several red and one tan lol oh yeah they are pit/ridgebacks.  Pit momma male ridgeback

I think you need to keep all 12 for about a year to evaluate them real good, lol  ;D ;D ;D

I would love to do that but no way.  Time wise I will be able to evaluate 6 to 8 better than 12.
