Lonesome Dove - good story, about the good ol' days, watched on tv with my family, in the good ol' days, when everything was simpler and people were better because i was young and naive.  i like looking at all the old buildings, especially July Johnson's cabin.   just a good movie of a bunch of good ones and it was pre heterosexually challenged mountain when mcmurtry showed us all how far the devil's thingy reaches.

Commanche Moon - funny, great dialogue many great stories all in one.

best recent movie - Avatar - good movie with real life parallel meaning(just saw this recently for the first time)

that one Australian western was pretty good too, i just that recently though.

Too many favorites to list, but these are the ones that if they are on TV and I don't have anything to do, I end up watching them, again, even though I have seen them a million times.

Shawshank Redemption, Step Brothers, Joe Dirt, Green Mile, Black Hawk Down, Goodfellas, Casino, Donnie Brasco, Forrest Gump, Dances With Wolves, and, I hate to admit, the entire Harry Potter series of movies.

Man... so many... on a personal level... I love the movie "The Adventures of Baron Munchausen".... kind of an "out there" movie... but if you're like me... it makes alot of sense....  ;)  ;D

... can't go wrong with the classic "Predator".... can't imagine a movie that will ever top that masterpiece... but a man has to have a dream  ;D
