EAST TEXAS HOG DOGGERS FORUM

Haven't seen much talk about it on here. Think I might make my first trip down with the family and see what they have to offer.

If I don't have to work Saturday or Sunday, I might make the drive and bring the wife and kids.  I'll end up having to work though I'm sure.

Ive had this weekend planned for a couple weeks now... If I didnt end up hunting the Tournament, i planned on heading to Earls..
My "Supervisor" is trying to screw me over and make me come in to work...

Me and Jared H. will be there Saturday, and i believe cbwalker22 is going as well..

if i could find somebody to feed the critters while i was gone i'd be there . guess i'm gonna have to get re-married so i could make the little woman stay home and feed  ;D  >:D

I know Mason, D.R. Stuart and myself are heading down on Saturday, few other folks are going from my area brad s is suppose to be heading down as well. That is if I.don't have to work had some unexpected incidence happen at work and hopefully we can get it back up before the weekend

Me and Mason are heading down there saturday they'll be having the 2 dog bay that day. You should definetly check it out if you've never been they have alot of vendors there selling everything a hogdogger needs, collars, cut gear, dog boxes, dogs you name it. I always pick up a bunch of collars with name plates real cheap there. Its definetly something to see at least once this is gonna be my third time making the pilgrimage, ha. Get to see some good baydog action in pen they usually have some good boars for the dogs to work. ....Denny

I'll be there. i went about 8 years ago didn't think much of there hogs. but i've hear its got alot better over the last few years.

i will be there fri and sat.  just going to visit.   

I gonna try to make up but the younger turned up sick today so that might change the whole weekend.

Yep our crew will probably show up. Always a good time.

Craig, how long of a drive is it down there from Wagoner? I know what mapquest told me, but was wondering what a real world drive time is.

Sorry to hear that AR. Prayers for your son. We are headed there as we speak. User Jakes and I, along with my biggest support group... My 2 kids. All is good till she checks the bank acct! Haha

Sorry to hear about your son man, it turned out good this year met the cambells and pigman nice dogs baying smaller pigs although it seemed came home with lots of 4 dollar collars with free name plates and a couple 6 dollar leads and a bunch of nice people to mingle with!

Haha. Nah me Ironheadkennel21 and bayedhardhogdogs, were there bud. You probably passed us in the crowd. I bumped into Jasonmac, Yeller and OCD or whatever your handle is now.  :D

We had a great time and actually got to bring a friend of mine and his father who has raised some of the best Yeller dogs in the thicket longer than I have lived. Was an outstanding trip if nothing else just to sit back and listen to a rediculous wealth of Yeller dog knowledge from this elderly gentleman.

Was also a kick getting to watch him walk the strings of Yeller dogs tied outside, while he chuckled and said......Sure is alot of mixed up junk here ain't there boys.  Haha

Does( bayed hard) have a daughter? If so hell he was sitting right in front of me...I woulda liked to met u n talked hunting I like learning new things and shooting the crap with old timers! Maybe next time man if ur ever down in east Texas Hollar at me.

Yes he has a daughter but she wasn't there. I had my son but he was the only kido we had with us.

As for being down in East Texas..Haha I never left.   ;)

I live 45 minutes from calloways I live in Hemphill(Sabine county), I'm always around I hunt n drink a little cold beer.

We was there all week long. Had an absolute blast competing and with great friends. Wish i could have met up with a few from the board, and shot the chit a little. Im ready to go back!
