I dont believe in it, some people like it.

kennel your dog next to another female in heat with a male dog in the kennel with the dog you want to be in heat, hormones work natural sense is better IMO

Does this work with a 5 year old female that has only had 1 noticeable heat?

I just talk to my vet & she said its a shot, with no side affects but there is a chance she may not take even though the shot forces her in, depending on if her eggs are fertile & stuff. If she doesn't take then she just resumes her normal heat cycle.
