Title: dog haulers Post by: tnhillbilly on March 26, 2012, 01:04:26 am I am looking for recommended dog haulers. I really like Cajun pet express, but Its really hard to get him up this far, and takes too long to get one hauled.
I'm not lookin for the bad ones or to bad mouth any, just the good professional haulers you have used. And what you liked about them. The reason I ask is, I just used one that I will never use again. But not going to trash them either. Title: Re: dog haulers Post by: Reuben on March 26, 2012, 03:21:10 am hey Tom,
I probabaly need to have a couple of pups transported from cookeville, tn to the Houston, tx area around the first of june... I think it might be worth finding a hauler...so am interested on what you know or what others have to say about it... If I decide to go myself... I will spend 36 hrs total driving time and about 520 dollars of fuel...probably 1000 dollars buy time I spend the money on a motel and then eating out along the way...and then factoring in mileage on my truck including the oil change, and not to mention wear and tear on my vehicle... it will add up... Title: Re: dog haulers Post by: tnhillbilly on March 26, 2012, 03:38:50 am It would be much cheaper to get a hauler unless you just wanted to see the great state of TN.
I recommend Cajun pet express, he comes thru middle tn more often, I think you could get one hauled for about $250 but im not 100% sure on that. The reason i do like them is if I can get him to come this far east he has a fast turn around "delivery" time, and clean, professional van, with adequate kennel space. Title: Re: dog haulers Post by: tnhillbilly on March 26, 2012, 03:57:23 am These plott pups are ready to go, ive got one going to east tx, one or two to ark. And have 3 left. That need a forever home. LOL!!!

Title: Re: dog haulers Post by: bigo on March 27, 2012, 06:32:52 am I sent two dogs and a hog mount to New York with Buckeye and it took over two weeks for them to get there. They appeared to have been well taken care of when they finally arived but that is way too long. I was a nervous wreck before that was over.
Title: Re: dog haulers Post by: Corey on March 27, 2012, 07:49:27 am I don't have personal experience with but hear good things about Buckeye.

dmdoghauling.com USDA 31-T-0017 Several of my buddies have used this gentleman and his business partner. They have come to my house several times to make pick ups or drop offs. They were always very proactive, and kept me informed. I don't believe you will find FASTER service, as they typically drive straight through. They switch off drivers. They use a pick up with double stacked dog boxes. Give them a shot, and tell them Josh in Fl sent ya. Mike has been wanting to hog hunt, and maybe he'd work something out with you. |
