I had him in the the middle one and he tore it up so bad I decided to rebuild it so I put him in the pen with one of my females and he tore her pen up within a few days. Title: Re: few of the dog pens Post by: chads7376 on March 28, 2012, 03:13:33 pm I am at work and I can't see the pictures here to see how extensive the damage is but... I did find something that worked at my house. In my fenced in area behind the house there is a wooden swing on the back porch and I keep a couple dogs in this area. I tried everything to keep them from chewing the corners off this swing. I know this is going to sound kinda gross and a little far fetched but I read somewhere online that you should pee on it. Well I was out of ideas and did just that. That was about a month ago and they haven't chewed on it nor have I sat on it since.
Kind of a catch 22 Title: Re: few of the dog pens Post by: skunkhounds on March 28, 2012, 03:32:19 pm FIX HIM A BARREL SO HE DONT HAVE THE WOOD TO EAT JMO
Title: Re: few of the dog pens Post by: dodgegirl on March 28, 2012, 03:46:38 pm He'd probably chew the barrel up. I have big horse buckets in there for water and he has chewed that thing to hell. I had a little plastic pool for the dogs to get in he chewed that up. Hell he got under one of my mud trucks and ripped the damn wires out from under it. I think the neighbours would look at my funny if I was out there peeing on the own hahah.

Title: Re: few of the dog pens Post by: dub on March 28, 2012, 04:36:07 pm Get the big blue barrels. They will chew them but they last. I only use wood for a couple I have that are too big to fit in the barrel. I had a dog eat a wadding pool. One of those hard plastic ones and not little. It was full of water and he ate the pool.

Title: Re: few of the dog pens Post by: YELLOWBLACKMASK on March 28, 2012, 09:25:35 pm metal barrel and metal water bowl i switced mine stop all the problem X2. Agree. Just lost a gyp from cribbing plastic water buckets. Try the rubber tubs from tractor supply. They will crib a lil but they must taste bad because they will stop Perty quick. Title: Re: few of the dog pens Post by: WayOutWest on March 28, 2012, 10:41:41 pm I have a couple Bolio bred bulldogs that eat houses. The doors are lined with angle iron and the inside is lined with tin they can't get ahold of. Won't have any more of those dogs after these go.
