Title: Anyone ever try this cross out?
Post by: arrowbar on April 12, 2012, 10:45:14 pm
Any one ever try a plott/ab? I might have a few on the way, totally an oops litter. I wanted to burn the gyps first heat cycle but I may not have caught it in time

I don't recall ever hearing of that cross....but it should prove to be a good one I would think. Keep us posted if it is gonna happen.....I'd be interested in seeing how they turn out.

I know a fella with that cross. Big rough dog. Hunts decent and is totally quiet. Pocahontas bred plott.

I had a friend with one named Tick years ago.. He was a pretty good dog. I have a wall mount that he and my Ringo dog caught years back from Green Swamp west. Totally quiet and rough when he wanted to be. If you were closer i would take one in a minute. Good luck.

rockriver my hounds hit more than one species of game and do it well.  We all hunt different so I am glad you have something that works for you, but I prefer to hunt cats, bear and hog and with my plotts its gets done. The american bulldogs add another dimension.
