Post by: charles on April 19, 2012, 02:16:05 pm if you are in texas, NO you do not have retrieval rights and YES they can shoot your dogs if the dog/s are harrassing the owners cattle, themselves and or family and their dogs. its your word against theirs that your dog/s were or were not harrassing their cattle.

Title: Re: Dogs crossing fences. Post by: cantexduck on May 08, 2012, 08:13:17 pm Baying a hog is also legal reason for a land owner to shoot a dog. Better off to not hunt where you don't have permission to cross fences.
Hunting at night? Why would you recommend someone to hunt at night so they could jump fences ? Title: Re: Dogs crossing fences. Post by: OCD on May 08, 2012, 08:45:02 pm get as much permission as you can to at least retrieve your dogs
