Post by: bigo on May 22, 2012, 06:59:09 pm
I just got through grinding that big Barr we caught Sunday into sausage. It was a chore, but I have a stack of sauage a trick dog can't jump over. That should last us a good while.

A couple sausage patties sound good right about now.  I always did enjoy butchering from start to finish, especially scraping hogs.  It's something I hope to pass to my children, because it's a dying art all together.

I use Williams sausage seasoning regular. The family likes it the best of all that I've tried. I buy it at Brookshires.
