Title: Kitchenaid Mixers
Post by: mod93dirt on May 23, 2012, 01:31:26 am
My wife wanted one of those fancy kitchenaid stand mixers for her birthday last week, so I got her one. But I had alterior motives. They make a meat grinding/sausage stuffing attatchment that hooks to it. Anyone here ever used one of these. The reviews on the web seemed pretty decent for the grinder. And I figure dang near anything is better than the hand crank grinding I am doing now.

Even if the grinder dont work out, so far its been a good buy. Shes already done made a batch of banana nut bread, a rum cake, and some oatmeal chocolate cookies. I already plan on getting the grinder attatchment, just wondering if anyone else out there has used them.

Same here, my wife has a kitchen aid mixer.  I was told by someone else who has one that they make attachments and they work great.  They sell them at a store close to my house, I am going to get a set also.

LOVE mine!!! they even have an ice cream maker that I highly recommend! all you have to do is freeze the attachment an add your mix..no more ice or salt!

Yes used it once.  A small meat grinder is 3-4 times faster than this attachment.  Better than a hand crank grinder.
